Custom Draperies, Valances and Drapery Hardware

Custom draperies are some of the final installations that will go into your new home, or remodeling project.  The average consumer changes window fashions every five to fifteen years.  When you decide it is time for you to have new window fashions, you deserve to have a professional provide you with a thoroughly satisfying buying experience.  At Sue Haase Designs I offer  ideas for your needs  and wants, and share hundreds more design options that will fit your individual tastes and budget.

If you have considered new window treatments, you will have two different approaches to consider for your project:

1.  Shopping a local retailer, or on-line retailer, for ready-made window treatments. Many customers who have tried this method have complained about the ready-made sizes, having to re-sew items so they fit the window, color dye-lot mismatches, and limited color and fabric selections.

2.  Custom window treatments have none of the above limitations-if you can imagine it, we can make it.  With endless custom designs and fabric selections, distinct and custom trims, custom sizing for all your windows, high-quality linings-including energy efficient linings and interlinings, custom is the only way to go for the client who wants an individualized look and feel.

Why Custom...

Your Custom Window Treatment Will Fit Perfectly.  They are made just for your windows, and their exact measurements.

Custom Draperies Have a 2˝-3x’s Fullness.  Most ready-mades have only 1˝-2x’s fullness.

Patterns Are Matched Across Seams, and Design Elements are Positioned Perfectly.

Custom Draperies Can be Made to Any Size.  If you have architectural details that require two different hem lengths on the same drapery panel, custom draperies can be made exactly as needed.

Linings Make All the Difference.   Linings come in every color imaginable, as well as thermal linings, inter-linings and eco-friendly linings.

Any Treatment Can Be Customized With Trims, Buttons, Ribbons, Welts, Decorative Borders and Hardware.  There are options that you may never have imagined.

Coordinate your window treatments with custom table covers, placemats, napkins, pillows and shower curtains.  Your room accessories can be customized to match your window treatments.

You benefit from the attention to every detail of your project, and the quality craftsmanship which comes with that attention.  You cannot receive this same level of quality, personal attention, from a local retail store or online shopping source.

Deciding on the perfect custom drapery can be difficult and time consuming. However, working within the confines of any unusual architectural elements of your home, your budget and your life style, there is a solution. Our custom draperies are handmade from an extensive collection of fabrics, linings and trims.
